What a Week!

Ok so I went to my second to last stitching class last week. Well I found a pattern that had a few stitches in it that I didn't know how to do (that was not an easy task). So I took it to class and showed the teacher what I needed help with and she said don't do them but if I really wanted to here was the book to follow the instructions from there. SO needless to say Kathy was not very happy. So I just worked on what I wanted. I think I was way to advanced for the class so I was kinda ignored. I was also told that now I should be doing larger articles (which was fine) and designing my own patterns. There is still a heck of a lot I have know idea how to do. But anyway.

So Monday was bowling and some how I did something to my wrist. I think it was tendinitis probably from too much stitching lately. I have really been pushing it as our first two craft shows are this Saturday. So I wrapped my wrist. Tuesday it was a nice day so I went out to the garden and cut down a bunch of dead plants and planted 12 daffodils bulbs. I would have kept working but my wrist was really sore.

Wednesday morning I finished planting the last 12 daffodils. Between Mac and myself we have put 72 new bulbs into the garden. 24 were Daffodils and 48 were Tulips. I think that is enough for this year. I went to my local needlework store after that and stitched with the owner and another person for a few hours. Then I have been looking at two patterns for quite some time. I ended up getting The Garden by Emie Bishop (Cross ' N ' Patch).

The picture is not that great but you get the idea.

Last night when I checked my emails I found one from a Guider saying that certain paperwork was not in and I better get it there ASAP. I was furious as one sheet had a persons credit card information on it and all of the paper work was in on September 15, 2008. I sent a not so nice email back. I spoke with them today and she had made a double file for my unit and thought it was funny when she found her mistake. I was hoping mad.

Tonight mom and I set up our table for one of the shows this week end. Tomorrow we will check another one out and go get some Cherry/Pineapple/Peach jam. Oh it is soooo good. Then Saturday I have to set up and do the other show and we both do the show on Sunday. Busy weekend ahead.

Smoken now

I finished this Mill Hill pin yesterday and have about 1/4 of the Chicken A La Mode done. Should have that one finished tomorrow. That makes 15 projects in 16 weeks. My needle is looking a little worse for the wear though. I think it will break soon as it is quite warped.

Today mom, dad and I went to check out a Art and Artisan show. We thought it might be something we would apply for and sell out crafts at. Well basically all they had there was jewelery, paintings and wood. Oh and some sculptures. We decided that our stuff probably wouldn't go there and it was an expensive venture to try and not make the fee back.

When we came home I planted my Lenten Roses and did a little bit of clean up. I am trying to decide weather I will leave the Ninebark bush in or take it out and put some dasies or something like that in there. I am also considering taking out my grass on the far side and putting in some other stuff as well. I need to do something drastic to the garden as it is too flat. I have a few friends that I will ask if the want some of the plants I will be taking out. I will have to take some pictures of before, during and after Kathy's attack. I am going to get some Gerber Dasies to fill in the boring areas as they have lots of colour.

Obviously I am feeling better now. Last Thursday was the start of 4 weeks for this cold. I was told the other day they are calling it the 60 day cough. Well I have almost done 30 so only another 30 togo.

I will get to see how much the cold and my medication increase is affecting my lung function. A week from Wednesday I have an Echo, Stress Test and Pulomonary Function Tests. That will be a good indicator of what the meds are doing.

Craft Shows

Well it has been a few days since I posted last. Boy am I tired. I just spent the last 2 days at a Craft Show. First one of the season. Didn't realize how badly I need my afternoon naps. I think because of how many hours I was up yesterday that put me out of rhythm again last night. Just when I thought I was starting to get things under control with the drugs and thougth possibly I could put the ablation off until like mayby May or June. Nope not going to happen. Hopefully I will get some documentation for the EP but then again I hope I am not out of rhythm too often between now and the 5 of December. I have a craft show every week end till then and don't have the time to get sick in the mean time or January will be a no go. That doesn't include all the running around I have on a day to day basis. I am almost done my crosses so I think I will work on my Halloween Gameboard for awhile. I was very bad and ordered 11 more. Now there is just 3 or 4 left to get but I really am only interested in 1.

Anyway off to bed.

First Post

Well all this is my first post hopefully of many. I will have to let my CSF friends know about this blog so I can add some friends so it won't look so bare.

I have been working on my bookmarks for my Crafts Shows which start in a week. I will have to add a picture of one that is finished. Sorry it is not a great picture and on its side. Will have to post better pics later. Well I am off to work on my website some and my picture albums.
